Let the Catching Up Begin!

Because I'm committed to capturing our family memories I'm going to attempt to catch up from the last 2 months!  A daunting task but I'm going to tackle it little by little!

I spent the whole month of June in Waco teaching swimming lessons...
so not a lot of pics, just a lot of work!
But I honestly love it.
It was our family's 30th year to do swimming lessons at our house!
My sister started quite a legacy all those years ago!

The first two weeks Trav and I taught together.
And the first week our kids were all at "camp" at Mimi and Poppy's house.
They had a blast...with a different theme for each day complete with a
huge paper bag full of stuff for that day...
water day, bug day, luau day, etc!
They have a very creative Mimi and Poppy!!

Trav and I were teaching very long days so they had much more fun in Edna than
they would have with us that week!  Thank you thank you Mimi and Poppy for making
it such a fun week for the girls!

We went to pick them up in Austin at the end of the week (and to drop Trav off at the airport to fly back to Tempe for the weekend) and realized on the way down in talking to different friends on the phone that we were about to be in Austin at the same time that some dear friends were flying in for a wedding!

It was such a sweet gift!
They live in Boston, we live in Tempe. None of us are ever in Austin,
but we all ended up there on the same day at the same time.

So...we had lunch!

 Courtney Trahan (now Shanahan!)
This was extra sweet because I knew I wouldn't be able
to be at her wedding that was just over a month away.
So it was fun to spend some time with her...even for a couple of hours!

Emily and baby Lydia...with a new Little baby on the way!

These two are quickly becoming buddies!

I would also get to see the Little's the next day...they had already planned to
drive down to Waco and go to Antioch and then hang out with us a little...
but Trav would not have seen them since he was flying home that day.
So, a sweet reunion.
We have had the blessing of walking with these friends now for years.
We love you Littles!

Here are pics from the next day too...

Baby Lydia is well loved around my girls!

Fun times with friends!
Short but sweet...
we'll take whatever we can get!

Such a fun memory getting to see you all! Also, when I saw the picture of you and me what came to mind was "Ibu Joy!" Haha--random! Love you all :)
