Grandmommie and Papa Came!!

We had such a great time with my parents on their visit to meet Sarah Grace! It was supposed to rain the whole time they were here, but it only ended up raining one day so we were out and about a lot. They were so excited to hold their 5th grandbaby!It's hard to tell who's more excited to be together again! Papa and Ellie are buddies!! We took a little trip out to Kimball Farms but Ellie wasn't so sure about the riding the horses. This was her reaction... She never let go of Trav. Maybe we'll try again next time!Kimball Farms is known for their homemade ice cream. Here's Ellie and Travis making sure they got what they ordered.

We have a garden in backyard and Ellie loves to eat the sugar snap peas!Thanks Aunt Allie for the matching dresses.

We took several family walks along the river. It was so beautiful.

Mimi's Visit...Part 2

A couple more pics from Mimi's visit. These were taken after Sarah Grace's first trip to a restaurant (I think she was one week old). She picked Mimi's favorite...Cheesecake Factory. Ellie LOVED the fountain afterward. It was a little chilly outside but she didn't seem to care.Here is Ellie showing off the things that Mimi did for her. She painted her "P" for her new chair... And she organized ALL Ellie's toys!! This was such a help for me and for Ellie.

Mimi's Visit

We had a fun time with Mimi...and really appreciated all her help...especially in entertaining Ellie! They sang lots of songs! All about either Mommy, Daddy, Baby, or Ball. Thanks for being so available to come and help us! We called her while we were in labor and she changed her flight to be able to come this next day. We love you! We were so busy these are the only pics we got with her!

Thank you Bibby!

Sarah Grace decided to come early and about that time Travis' Aunt Libby decided she would come up with his mom to help out. She was such a blessing. Thank you Libby for coming to help!! We are so thankful to have such supportive families! She helped Travis clean and put together Ellie's "big toy"! Ellie was very grateful! (and so was Travis!!)

She also helped paint her new little chair from our friend Lacey's (Lala) mom. Ellie loves it! She sits in it and rocks and reads her books.

She even got time to sit and hold baby between doing laundry and helping keep the house clean! We love you and miss you, Aunt Bibby!

Sarah Grace's First Sunday!

Today was Sarah Grace's first Sunday at church. I carried her in a sling...we said that this was about the same position she was in the last time she was at church...but she was on the inside instead of the outside! She did great--she slept the whole time. She was actually more still than she used to be in church when I was pregnant with her. Here's another family pic outside our house when we got home.

Ellie is such a sweet big sister. In this picture she had just realized that Baby Gracie had spit up a little and she went and got a burp cloth and wiped her mouth really gently. So sweet!

Coming Home!

This is the journey home beginning in the recovery room...walking up the front steps...and bringing Sarah Grace in our home for the first time.This little tikes climber is a gift to Ellie from mommy and daddy in celebration of new baby sister and the summer that has finally arrived. She loves it!
