Easter

And here's the Easter update...again, by Trav.
Getting into their Easter baskets from mom and dad.
Using their new brooms to help around the house.
Pictures are sometimes staged, but here's a real life one...and I typically agree with Emily here in saying, "What in the world is going on?"
They loved their Easter baskets. And yes, it looks like the 'razz' is trying to make a comeback.
I set up the camera and took most of the other pictures on this day, but this beautiful one of Emily that Joy took shows who the real photographer of the family is.

Alright, we did our best to take some good family Easter photos with the timer on our camera.  It was a bit of a challenge but here is what we got.

We had a wonderful day.  After visiting a nearby church Sunday morning we had an Easter lunch with a young couple that have girls Ellie and Sarah Grace's ages.  We actually ate at their parents home and had a great time.  Here are some pics of the Easter egg hunt we had after lunch.

That evening we had a couple over that Joy met at a Bible study who have two boys Ellie and Gracie's age.  They had a 'whirlwind' of a time and we really enjoyed getting to know them.  Ellie was so cute the night of Easter as we put her to bed.  She started crying and saying, "I don't want Easter to end!" over and over again.  We had been talking about Easter all weekend. We would shout, "He is risen!" and she would say back, "He is risen An-dy" (when we corrected her at first and told her it was INDEED, she said No, it's An-dy.  She and Sarah Grace of course loved the Easter egg hunt and playing with friends...so she was really really sad for it to end.  We assured her Jesus was alive and we could celebrate that everyday.  It was just really sweet.

I also wanted to add this video of Emily Easter evening.  She's getting so interactive.  What another beautiful addition to our family she has been.
