We left Tempe Friday morning at 5:45am to drive to Texas to teach swimming lessons. We got to Amarillo on Friday night to stay with my sister and her family. After a VERY long day of driving with three kids in a sedan, we were so thankful for a break! We ended up spending most of the day Saturday with them...one because we love them and wanted to see their basketball games, baseball games, and just hang out with them and two, because we were procrastinating getting back in the car!! I took no pictures but here are some on Allison's Blog. There are a couple of hilarious ones of E.
We got back in the car and pulled into Waco late Saturday night. The girls really did do fine...but I'm glad we have a little while before we have to turn around and do it again. I have no pics of the journey...who knows where my camera even was underneath all the toys, books, snacks, dvds...
The older girls are in Edna for a few days with Mimi and Poppy (AND Gigi and Grandbear). So we are teaching swim lessons in Waco and getting lots of quality time with our little Emily. I forgot how easy it was with just one! She's getting all kinds of attention here! She's even cutting her first tooth and smiling and laughing her way through it.
