Our Family Christmas

Since we went to Texas for Christmas we had our little family Christmas before we left...
complete with our family traditions and our family presents to each other.

We did it on the 22nd...because the 23rd was Sunday and we left right after church that evening.

It started with homemade cinnamon rolls and then we opened presents!

I realized we don't have a ton of pictures because there was so much going on,
but here are a few.

I can't remember why Emmy was so upset but this is the best pic we got of all three of them!
Sad moment for little Emmy!

New Jesus time videos...

And one of the favorite presents of the day...
Doc McStuffins!
My niece introduced us to her, she's a huge hit with all three of my kids.
I'm a big fan of the show myself...Doc is a doctor to her toys
and she's so cute and sweet.

She talked when they got her but she has already stopped working :(.

Next we read the Christmas story and acted it out...
taking turns on playing different parts.
We love this!
Daddy is the best donkey we've decided. :)

Emmy did a great job giving and receiving the gold,
frankincense, and myrrh.

It was such a fun day...laid back, low key and sweet time as a family.
We don't do a ton of gifts...but try to get them a few things they'll get excited about.

Our goal is that they would know it's all about Jesus...
my heart is that we communicated that
in all we did this season.

It was a very Merry Phillips' Christmas!
