Amarillo Stopover

Shortly after school was out and all our activities were over it was 

about time to head to Texas for swimming...no rest for the weary in May 

around here!

My mom flew in and she and I and the kids drove together...

we tried to break it up some, stopping in Amarillo for about a day 

where we got to spend some time at their lake house.

Always so fun and relaxing--especially in the middle of a long road trip!

And the kids of course are always ecstatic to see their cousins!

Fun times but too short!
Looking forward to being back there for a family vacation 

at the end of July!
