Ellie had been looking forward too and talking about this weekend for a long time.
It had finally come.
She was proud and honored to get to be Rob (who she once affectionately named, Princess)

and Lacey's flower girl.
The wedding weekend started Friday afternoon at the spa with the wedding party and then we all went to Sandra's for a shower. Saturday morning we had a brunch with all the girls at Lacey and Rob's new house and then we headed straight for the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner.
With the exception of the spa party, my kids were a part of all of it. Lacey wouldn't have it any other way. Made for a few late nights, but of course it was worth it.
Typical Sandra and Joy pic, I'm really laughing and she's...being Sandra.
Lala helping E.
Lala letting E do what she wanted and making a mess!
Just fyi, somewhere during all these pictures, making quiches, feeding Emily, getting my kids and their car seats out of Alyssa's car (who brought them over after they woke up to join the party)...I "lost" my phone. Lost because I don't know where it is, but not lost because I know exactly what I did with it. I placed it on top of Alyssa's car and then forgot I did and she drove away. An hour later I realized it. Sad. Third phone in a month for me. Pathetic. Too much going on that morning (or all the time, really!). I just didn't think about it or worry about it until the weekend was over. And I survived just fine.
I love this one...my girls love their Lala.

It was a beautiful Boston summer morning.
Ellie did awesome at the rehearsal. Rob's niece was a little older and
was the other little flower girl.
They had fun together and it helped E to have someone to walk down the aisle with.
She took her job really seriously but didn't seem nervous at all.

It
helped that she got to stand with Lala until right before she walked
down the aisle.
Gracie had a hard time at first having to sit and watch her sister.
But she was a good sport and waved and yelled "hi sissie" as E walked down the aisle.
Lacey even tried to send her down with Ellie on the actual day of the wedding at
the last minute...but we thought better of it!

So much fun! Three parties and a rehearsal in two days...
and things were just getting started!
