Scott is currently on his way to Peru for the 7th summer in a row. This year he'll go for 2 1/2 weeks. He loves to go...he's been so excited all weekend and especially today as he's gotten himself ready to go and all of us ready for him to be gone (he keeps us all in line around here!). He got one last swim in with the girls before he left. He loves his nieces and nephews so it's a sacrifice for him to be gone when they're all here, but he won't miss it. He lives missionally here and there. He loves people with the love of Jesus everywhere he goes.
Just this week he ran into someone at work who was having a really hard time. He said to her, "are you doing ok?" and she said, unconvincingly, "yeah, I'm doing ok." And he said, "you look like you need this," and he pulled off his bracelet that says, "God is Big Enough" then pulled another one out of his pocket and told her that her husband might need one too. She told my mom that tears were streaming down her face as he walked away. I want to live like that.
We'll miss you and we love you Scotter!
