5 Months Today

Happy Five Months to Emily!

This month:

she's gotten a new tooth (and has started getting another)
made another trek across the country
starting eating cereal (a little early since she's so little)
still wearing 0-3 months clothes (but she really is growing)
loves to play, so content
gets her sleep at night and doesn't need a ton during the day
if i make her sleep more than she needs, she is not happy (i can relate)

likes her paci for sleeping (said we'd give it up at four months, maybe not....)
not a huge fan of her tummy (my only non-tummy sleeper)
cuddles with her blankie
cuddles with anybody
rolls all over the place
loves to watch what's going on
started laughing
thinks her mommy is hilarious (glad someone does)
sweet baby...but hasn't lost her feist
loves to get your attention
smiles and smiles and smiles

What she likes to do these days:

play with her sisters

 

laugh at grandmommie (maybe she'll have the mcdowell sense of humor...)

 

Claire has been awesome during swimminng lessons....they've become big buddies
